Mission Statement: Through education and cooperation we hope to promote the development of a positive collaborative relationship between the administration and parents in our area, so that our children receive the best support services possible. Our Goals: To ensure that all children receive an education that allows them to reach their full potential. To educate Parents about special education by providing them with the tools they need to be effective advocates for their children. To inform the community, the schools, and our legislative leaders about the importance of special education programs. What is a SEPTA?: SEPTA’s (Special Education Parent Teacher Association’s) are community-wide organizations that encompass a geographical area or district, who’s focus is on special education. Who are SEPTA Members?: SEPTA members are anyone and everyone who has an interest in the welfare of children with special needs. Parents, families, friends, students, teachers, school administrators, and professionals. Membership is open to all. Every member is valuable.
